Seminar on music and evangelism / choral workshops at Algrange in August 2014
This music conference took place at the French Pastoral Baptist Bible Institute in Algrange. Pastor Tim Heijermans from Luxembourg explained what the Bible has to say regarding the use of music in evangelism. He provided an in-depth look at the theological, historical, and practicals aspects of these theme, with both clarity and enthusiasm.
Christian professional singer Isabelle Tréhout-Williams led workshops on choral and vocal technique. She explained with her typical good humor methods such as :
▢ How to breath correctly for singing ;
▢ How to sing high notes ;
▢ How to lead vocal warm-ups ;
▢ How to effectively use rehearsal time.
Several church leaders and musicians attended from the Paris area, Metz, Thionville, Bayeux, Luxembourg, and Belgium. A mini-concert and fellowship time concluded the event.
